You will support RB's Health business unit and?assist in supporting?the newly created Science Platform Innovation; including?managing and?advising?on?worldwide?patent and design matters, invention harvesting,?freedom to operate advice, competitor monitoring, validity opinions, drafting, filing, agreements, licensing, managing external agents, oppositions and, on occasion,?litigation. You'll support a variety of matters working as directed by?Manager, both autonomously and with?all?other?patent?attorneys?in RB's Global Patent Dept. You will work as part of RB's Global Legal team, supporting GPD colleagues in other Business Units as needed to be part of a x-functional patent team.
You'll succeed because…
…you're professionally qualified or part qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney. You have experienced in chemical patent subject-matter, including drafting and freedom to operate opinion work and registered design work, gained either within private practice and/or in-house. You have excellent communication skills, in particular, able to confidently present legal advice in a clear, commercial context to non-legally qualified RB employees holding a range of positions in our business.
